Hello!
How was the kiddos spring break? Give me some stories! :) Oh Mamma and Callie--- I thought of you so much at the Women's Broadcast! I can imagine you two going together, getting Dairy Queen after and having the best time ever! I thought of Mccall having to stand up and sing "Teach Me to Walk in the Light" and I bawled like a baby! haha That will be so fun when we can all go together one day! Oh and Mom ...I "looked up at you and smiled"...just like they said to ---so no worries! :)
My week was FANTASTIC!!! We had so many miracles! :) Carlos didnt get baptized but, it is okay because I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES! He will get his answer...he just have to keep working! Janice is really progressing...she started fasting about her baptismal date and we haven't even taught her what fasting is!!! So that was cool! We started teaching her 11 year old son too...so we are so happy about that! Dirk is gone...he will be gone for a while...May 12...which is inbetween the two most wonderful people's birthday in the world! Grandma Crouch and Mommy Lou! So that will be a great weekend! We sent him a Book of Mormon so hopefully he will be a scholar when he gets out! :)
Some miracles for the week.... :)
Sister Warner has not been feeling too well this week so I got lots of studying time in! Woo! :) But the day she started feeling better was the day I WAS READY TO GO TO WORK! :) We went and knocked on some doors and boy did we find some wonderful people!
After church we said a prayer and felt like we should stay in Carmel . So we went and tried a few potentials. We got to the door and they were not there so we decided to knock on the doors around that area...and THE NEXT door we knocked on was incredible! We knock and a family opens the door...we introduce ourselves and then the most "unfamiliar" words came out of the mothers mouth and that was "You can come in...do you have half and hour?" As she said this I was smiling and just continued to smile...after I realized what she said...I asked her to repeat herself! haha I felt so dumb after but it was so "not normal" haha so on we went...we went inside and talked to them a Readers Digest version of the Restoration. We got a return appointment and they are coming to church after general conference! They are from Pakastian and the sweetest people! They just moved here about 2 years ago and they said they were looking for a church to go to! It was so awesome! I live for moments like that on the mishy! :)
I could go on and on about the miracles I continue to see on a daily basis...but we will save those for another time! Something I learned this week/strengthen was my testimony on the Atonement. I studied humility in my personal studies and I want to tell you something...I have been humbled! haha The cool thing about a mission though is I will probably say that next week too! You are constantly being reminded that what good is coming from this...is not you! But I love that! I know that through the atonement...in spite all of my weaknesses and imperfections, my weakness can be made into strengths because of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for that knowledge. It brings me such comfort! I love life and I am so happy! I sometimes wish so bad I could just call you and tell you about the amazing experiences I am having...but.. it keeps it special this way I guess!
I love you all! Alex, Grandma, and Sadie...I hope you have the best birthday ever!!!!! I will be thinking of you all! You will be getting some major "Happy Birthday prayers!" :)
Keep smiling and spreading the good word around! Adventure is out there! Go get it! :)
Love,
Sister Clegg the 3rd! :) :)
