Hello everyone!

Thank you ALL so much for your birthday wishes, letters, emails, and EVERYTHING! You are all so thoughtful and kind! I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude!!!  Thank you! It has been a great day and a day that I will always treasure! A family in the ward is having us over for dinner and cake. The trainer sisters fixed me breakfast this morning. I have truly had a wonderful day!! So humbled ---!!!

This week was so great! Oh man! I don't have a ton of time but...I will tell you the most important! So, we have been praying so hard for a "miracle" that we will find someone who is prepared and ready for baptism within these next 5 weeks and well WE MIGHT HAVE GOT IT!  We called President to see how "likely" it was to get clearance on Dirk's baptism. He made a few calls and called us back and said...that if he could stop smoking for a week he could GET BAPTIZED!!!! We hung up the phone with President and SCREAMED SO LOUD!! haha (Like little sister missionaries!) MAN! So, as soon as we had a moment we rushed over to Dirks house we sat down with him and told him the good news! We committed him to stop smoking and to prepare for baptism and he ACCEPTED! He has not smoked for 3 days now and is having some wonderful spiritual experiences! Woohoo!!! He said that he wants his daughter to be there so he is going to call her today and see what weekend works best for her! MAN oh MAN! A Miracle!!!!! I have cried tears of JOY this week and thanked my Heavenly Father so much for letting me be apart of this miracle! For that snowy day to stop and shovel his driveway... I am so grateful!!

I feel so blessed! The Lord answers prayers and the Lord cares about his children. How thankful I am to be apart of this great work! There truly is no greater joy!!  I love my Savior Jesus Christ and my Father who is in Heaven! This is the restored gospel and I know that this is God's work. I have fallen in love with the people here. I love Westfield and Carmel Indiana. The temple is coming along great and I know that I am here to be a servant of the Lord. Thankful He trusts me to carry out this great message of peace and hope!
I love you all! You are all so great and I pray for you all the time! Thank you for everything! You make the mission a pure joy as well! I love you!

HOLA!!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I hope you had a good Fathers Day Dad! I sure thought about you! Amster and Austy - I heard you gave excellent talks in church! Glad to hear that everyone is doing well! Callie and Harry - have an extra ice cream cone for me okay? (Maybe the Harry way?) haha!

Well, this week was wonderful! A growing week...but if you aren't having those weeks on the mission then you are doing something wrong!! They are just part of the "refining" process. Our investigators are doing good. We are really focusing on trying to find investigators who are ready to be baptized. We as a mission have a goal to get a 121 miracle (meaning baptisms) before the end of this coming transfer. I plan on contributing as much as I can to this goal and so we are working as hard as we know how to find those prepared children on God.

Transfers are this week...we will be staying in the great land of Westfield another transfer and I am so glad. I can't imagine leaving. I have work do to! Everyone in the District is leaving except Sister Hofhiens and I. So, President once again is switching it up!  He likes doing that! :)

Some miracles this week:

We were out Personal Contacting one day and we started talking to this lady name Selina. She just moved from Hawaii and she is the sweetest thing. As we were talking to her, we asked her if she had a faith and she said she was MORMON!  We were so surprised and asked what her story was. She then went on to explain that she was baptized when she was 8 and hadn't gone to church since. She said she prayed that morning for someone to help build her faith back up again! MIRACLE!

So, not only did a story like Selina happen once...but TWICE! We were at this trailer park...which might I add..Sister Hofhiens told me she didn't feel comfortable there and I was LOVING it!! I think I was meant to work in the slums of the towns???  But anyways..we met Porsha and she was baptized when she was 13 and moved to Indiana 7 years ago and ever since has not gone to church! Her family is from Hawaii as well.(totally opposite sides of town but happen to be a coincidence) But...she is the only member and the rest are not...so she said we could come back on Tuesday and whoever was home would listen to the message we had to share. (which if all her family is home...we could get like 7 new investigators!)   Blessings and miracles! This is Gods work! :)

Over all...This week I would say has been the most "growing week" I have had yet on my mission. How grateful I am for moments like that. One thing my Heavenly Father really has blessed me with is the ability to take a step back and look at the eternal perspective, and when you do that, nothing is worth really stressing about. I have grown and I have used my knees well this week, but I come out of it with hope and a reminder of what my purpose it as a missionary! We had three investigators we had to drop and one who is not doing as well.  I truly can say I LOVE the people I teach and so my heart is stretched when I have to put faith in the Lord in hopes that someone prepared will replace them. I am truly grateful for trials! I love it and one of the reasons I came out on my mission was to become a better person and I think Heavenly Father is trying his best to do so! :)

Well, I love you! Trei, Reese, Uncle Richard...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :) I love you and think the world of every single one of you! There isn't a greater work than what I am doing right now! I tresure this time and hold it sacred! I am thankful for my knowledge of the restored gospel! This is message we share is a message worth listening to! How blessed and thankful I am! :) Love you all!

Well hello there family that I love so much!

Good job Brenny for completing the 50/20 again! Holy! You are what they call a STUD!!!! I am so proud! Walking 50 miles in 20 hours --- amazing!! Sounds like Alex is about ready to become the next Jimmer! Way to go! All the above makes me just proud! :) Amster and Austy - I saw your wedding video and wow! LOVED IT! Mom and Dad - you are running around like crazy! :) You are all in my prayers! :) Play a good game of Frisbee for me will ya?!  (make sure to throw one for Grandma and Grandpa Clegg in there okay???) haha!

Wow, was this week incredible!

We had a specialized training on Wednesday for trainers and trainees. It was so good! President is such an inspired man! He talked about sincere and heart felt prayers. He promised us that as we pray with REAL INTENT, our faith will increase and we will be able to progress with our investigators! I love President! The training's given that day were just perfect! The Assistants are such good Elders.

Tuesday was wonderful! We met with Pat, who has been investigating the church for about a two months now...she is a very faithful woman in her church and LOVES the Bible. We were meeting with her this week and as we were teaching she stopped us and was very quite. As the spirit filled the room, we listened to her. She began telling us that she has been praying for years now that if she was doing something wrong or was not in the right spot.  She asked that God would send her someone to show her the way. She then told us that even though she thought it would be someone from her church she now is realizing that we were the ones. She said she knows we were an answer to a prayer and even though she hasn't got a confirmation yet she says she will continue to pray. It was a touching moment in time - I will never forget. I pray that she will continue to progress. President has been focusing on "Miracles" from the last month and I know that she can become one of our miracles. Faith precedes the miracle! This I know! I was so grateful to be there for that moment when God showed his Grace and touched her heart!

Friday...WAS THE BEST DAY EVER! We went with the Phillips to the temple in Kentucky! Oh my word! As I sat there in the temple I thought of so many good things...I thought of every single one of my investigators and how if they could just fill a little piece of what it feels like to be in the temple and how blessed thier life would be. It felt so good to go inside a holy place and just listen. It was something I needed. The Phillips spoiled us so much as well! haha They were so sweet! They are one of those families in the ward that have become part of your heart! They are truly good people. What a wonderful day! I will send some pictures!

Well, another week goes by and I continue to take a step back and realize how incredibly blessed I am! I know that God lives and that he loves us. I know that he is mindful of His children that don't have this knowledge of truth, and is hastening the work as fast as possible. Every child is so important to our Heavenly Father!!  I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. There is nothing in this world I would not do for him. He is my example and friend. I feel the spirit and the guidance of it every step I take in this green state of Indiana! Thank you all for your prayers! You all mean the world to me!

Dad, Happy Fathers Day! I love you! You are my hero! Thank you for influencing so many for good! You are one of my best friends!

I love you all! Share the gospel with someone this week! You never know who needs you and the wonderful message you hold. It changes lives!!!

Hello Family!!!
How are you? Boy...do I live for Mondays when I can see how my family is doing! I pray for you so much that by the time Monday rolls around it is fun to see almost all of those prayers answered! :) I haven't got to read any letters yet but... I hope Harry had a good Birthday! Austy go kill it out there now that you will be 22!!!!!!  That is so weird! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEMA! (Beyleigh) I hope you have such a good day! We are going to be the same age now for 2.5 weeks now! ye ye! What should we do to celebrate?? haha This is a big week for family and friends as far as Birthdays....Austin, Aunt Cynthia, Landon, Uncle Mark, and Bishop Williams! Woo..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This week was so good! We are hitting the pavement! :) We have been trying to work our hardest...the one good thing about both of us being "greenies" is that we both work "get to work" and we like it too! The sky is the limit and so we are teaching a lot of people! A lot of our investigators are SO CLOSE to making covenants with the Lord! They just need that extra leap of faith. I know that if they do not have progressing missionaries they aren't going to be progressing investigators so I have made some goals to show my faith in hopes that they will do the same!

Dirk is coming to church and reading the Book of Mormon faithfully. We were having a lesson with him this week and I asked how he was doing on Word of Wisdom things and he took a step back...he started smoking! My heart literally broke... I have been trying to be so emotionally involved with all my investigators that I tell you what...that one hurt. I have a strong testimony that the Book of Mormon changes people. So, I have faith and I will do everything in my power to help him gain a testimony of the Word of Wisdom. Have no fear though......THE LORD IS THERE!!!! :)

The ward is really coming along...we got two referrals this week from them!!!  (may not sound like a lot...but for Westfield....IT IS A TON!!!) We are excited and ready! We got a new Ward Mission Leader a few weeks ago and it has been amazing!! MAN! I love him! He has been to Redfish before too..so they said as soon as I get home they will come and visit me! haha (Dad..I have been advertising like crazy for you!) :) He is really excited about the work and I think that this is an answer to a prayer! Blessings!

This week is going to be such a good week! All the Trainers/Trainees how a conference on Wednesday and then on Friday Sister Hofheins and I are going with the Phillips to the TEMPLE!!!! In Kentucky! I am so excited! It has been way to long! (BTW - Dad they said they would come to Redfish as well!) So, we have a good week a head of us! I am really looking forward to being spiritually fed! :)

Well, I love you all so much! You are amazing! I hope life is going well and you know how much I care about you! You have all influenced my life and strengthen me everyday! How I count my blessings for all of you! I love you!

Love,

Sister Clegg the 3rd :)
