Hello FAMILY and Friends!
Ash..you looked like so beautiful in the pictures my Mom sent!!! You are the best and I am so glad that everything went well! I am so happy for you! Everyone else...you looked beautiful as well! :)
Cass Cass --Happy Bday this week! I sure do love you!

This week was wonderful! AS always...I truly  love everyday here!

 1. The work is going really well! We were able to get a lot of people of a baptismal  dates and there was a lot of progression with a lot of our new investigators. Sister Tua and I have really been trying to keep daily contact with our gators and keep them on the "straight and narrow" so we have seen a lot of progression with them and I am thankful for that. It has been blessed week.
     - Grigsby family came to church again! WOO! They are working towards the 9th of May
     - Thomas is finally reading The Book of Mormon-- working towards June 13th
     - Cherry came to church and is working getting baptized on the 23 of May
     - Dani is doing wonderful..she recognizes the spirit so we'll... it is fun to watch. A date soon!
     - Doug is incredible and has had some really hard things happen in his life recently so he is very
open minded and has a willing  heart to do the Lord will... Working towards June 13th
       as well!

So if you could pray for these people that would be great! Kayce (the Mom of the Grigsby family) is down to 2 cigarettes a day right now..and she has to stop this week... so out of anyone PRAY FOR HER! She has a testimony but the cigarettes are a hard one to kick..That poor girl...I love them all so much!

2. This Sunday was so wonderful! Man! It was Stake Conference...and guess what ward came with our to stake conference????? THE WESTFIELD WARD! Oh my..I about died and went to Heaven!!! The people I love so very much from the area I served in!!  Mom..you know how you call me a social butterfly? Well, this was like a social butterfly on steroids! haha!! It was so great to see everyone and give them hugs.. they were all so kind and loving and I think it would be safe to say that I was on cloud 9 to see everyone!

Studies this week - I have learned a lot this week actually! I love studies~  I love finding little gems and learning about the gospel. I have really focused on the power of prayer and letting that power change my daily actions. So many times in our prayers we pray for things but...we do not do a single thing about what we have a desire to have change or happen. So, I have really been focusing on praying for something with the knowledge that I will do something about it. It has been a week full of faith and miracles. I know that prayer is much more powerful then we could even imagine. When we just simply communicate with our Father in Heaven it changes us. It is a form of repentance. I am thankful for the chance to repent every day!

I love you all, I know that God hears our prayers!!
I hope you have a wonderful week! Dad..have fun at the fish! BE the light of the world up there!!! ...and Alex..I am so excited for you...this weekend will be a life changing  weekend..I will email you some suggestions I have!! Your patriarchal blessing is so important!! I love you!

I love you! I love you! I love you!

Hello Family!

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE WEEK! Ashlynn! I am so excited for you! What a special day that will be! I will be thinking of you all and pray everything goes perfectly! What a wonderful day! I sure do love you Ashlynn! You are an incredible girl and I am so happy for you!
Alex and McCall I hope you get feeling better! I am sorry you got sick!  Brennen you are quite the handsome devil - hope you had a great time at Prom!!

Well, this week was wonderful ... I always get to emailing on Mondays and get so excited and want to tell you everything...but get a little over whelmed on what to actually tell you!

1. I will start with the best family ever! The Grigsby family! They have my whole heart! When I first got here we were just teaching the kids (8, 8, and 11yrs old.) They are all doing great and they all want to get baptized, but this is a family who all needs the gospel!! There are literally like 5 families in this one home..and it has been so fun to watch this transformation happen! As we teach the kids...the grandma will linger in the kitchen...the Uncle will sit in the back room and listen..( I know he can hear every word!) :) :) and the Mom and Grandpa are sitting right beside the kids...well slowly but surely they started to participate this week and they have even said a couple of prayers for the lessons and Heavenly Father is just taking over! We asked this week if the whole family would sit in the lesson and they did! The whole family listened and we taught the about the Book of Mormon. By the time we were done they all had committed to come to church...and guess what??? THEY ALL CAME TO CHURCH!  We had a whole family come and it was just the best thing in the entire world! :) I love them all so much! Those kids have my whole heart and I love the Grandma, Uncle Keery, and Kacey! That home is a MIRACLE! We have literally been over their almost every day!!

2. I got to go to Chrissy's baptism. It was so wonderful! She is like Stephanie was ...prepared from day one and I love her dearly! I am so excited to go to Stephanie and Chrissy's sealings one day..they both know that I need to be the first one told as soon as they get engaged to their boys! :)
-unfortunately Ivy didn't get baptized..I called her every day this week to try and help her stay strong, but she said she just wasn't ready yet... I know she will get baptized  though, her testimony of The Book of Mormon is to strong for her to stay away to long..she promised me that she would choose a date this week and that she would hold to that date. I was pretty bold with her over the phone ..I told her it was because I loved her.
Chrissy's Baptism!!!

Overall this week was so good...OH I can't forget my funny story  for you all...so we woke up at 5:15 to go exercise and we walk out to go get in our car...and NO CAR??? You should have seen the look on our faces!  We thought for sure our car had been stolen and we were in complete shock! We walked back inside said a prayer and then called our vehicle coordinator..(poor guy) haha!! He said he would make some calls and see what was going on...so long story short...our car totally got TOWED! haha (we didn't have a permit- but I guess the sisters never did have a permit for the whole time that Sister Tua has been in crossroads but,.. that night I guess was just not our night! )  SO...75$ later..we got our car and a permit to park!  I guess you could say I have never been so happy to hear our car got towed in my entire life! :)  Silver lining right? Funny times!!

Sister Tua and I when our car was towed and GONE!!!!

Well, I love you all so much! This week President gave a training over a conference call to the whole mission on faith. And boy was it so powerful..he committed us to read and study faith for 15 minutes each day, and to be honest my mission and perspective has changed dramatically. I know that by faith miracles happen! I wish I could tell you half of the miracles that have occurred  this week, I know it is because we focused on simply trusting the Lord. I know that faith is the most essential thing to have in our daily life. If you want to read the Bible dictionary on faith it is excellent!

I love you  all and have a testimony! You are the best!
All my love,
Sister Clegg

Oh my goodness family!

Sounds like it was such a special weekend for Alex..I am so proud of you buddy! I can't believe you turned 16 years old!! Hope you got my letter to you!! I am so proud of all of you! You are doing so well and I thank my lucky stars for each of you! I am so very blessed!

Okay so this week was rather eventful I would say... and you all emailed me a thousand questions... so I will do my best to answer them! :)

1. With this new transfer I am in Indianapolis- definitely more city like ...the ward is called Crossroads (that isn't the town..its like a nickname....I learned that just barely....wow!)

2. I am with Sister Tua..she is from Utah and is Samoan and IS THE BEST! She played basketball and volleyball for SVU and is a stud muffin! We go to Golds Gym at 5:15am and it is a blast! :) She has a heart of gold and I also know she has got my back if ever needed....haha! At transfer meeting when we got together she just grabbed me and just picked me right on up!! President said he knew I was going to be safe because Sister Tua was with me! (little does he know I can hold my own!) haha!? :)

3. The people here and the area is amazing! SO happy! We were so blessed this week! We found 11 new investigators and people are so willing to talk to you here. They are extremly humble and I have a lot to learn from these wonderful people! I love them already!

4. Saturday was the best day in the entire world! I went back to Purdue for Stephanie's baptism and it was the best thing ever! The spirit was so strong! I was asked to speak at the baptism and I am speaking next week as well for Chrissy and Ivy's baptism as well so that will be wonderful! I get to go back twice!! Stephanie was so happy and she just couldn't stop crying she was so happy! I love that girl so much! She has changed my life! Her faith has been incredible!

Stephanies Baptism that I got to back to go Purdue for!!!!

Then just when you think the day couldn't have gotten better...we headed up to the temple with the YSA (Young Single Adults from Purdue!!) Yes...we went to the temple the same day! :) A less active we have been working really hard with came to the temple too!!  He loved it and I was so happy for him! He even brought his own family names! WOO! Also Watson came! Erika was going to come but she got hurt in practice so she had to go get an x-ray...(she is doing better now!)
Literally though...it was the best day of my life!

Young Single Adults from Purdue on their temple visit!!

5. It feels so good to be back to the area close to where I started my mission. We went to the  "Why I Believe Fireside" on Sunday and I forgot how much I love those things! They are the  best! We have them every month but the one in Indy is huge! The spirit was and is so strong!

Ummm I can't remember if there was more questions? ...but this week was so great! I know I am supposed to be in Crossroads...I love and miss campus and Purdue University...missionary work is a lot different on campus as opposed to a city like this...but I know that this is where I should be!

Mom always asks what I am studying and what has been on my mind...this week I would have to say Charity. When you have been in an area for 6 months and I would say it is pretty easy to have charity for that area and the people. So, I have grown  a lot this week in trying to learn to love all over again!! Trying to stretch my heart strings a little for the people here and boy oh boy has the Savior helped me! I love this area!! I love these people and I know that it is not me who instantly fell in love with these people. It is the Savior. I am so thankful for that! I have loved learning to love all over again. It is the most important attribute of Christ.

Well......with that said...I LOVE YOU!!!! I love you all more then words can describe! I love the support you give me and I love the testimonies you share with me weekly! I love my mission, and I love these people!!

Thank you for everything and have a wonderful week! If you will please pray for Ivy and Chrissy...the week before baptism scares me half to death! Have faith..! I love you all!

Love,
Sister Cleggers

I gave Mom my address- but if you are going to send things like packages..I would recommend sending it the the mission office....sketchy stuff down here!!

Dear Family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA, SADIE, AND ALEX! I don't know who decided it would be okay to just let Alex turn 16 but, I just about want to die....Alex...will you wait for me so I can be your first date?! :)  I love you Buddy! I hope you have a wonderful day!!! And Grandma I love you so very much!!

Boy...was general conference the best thing ever! Revelation to the max! I am thankful for the Holy Ghost that teaches and corrects me. What a blessing. I was reminded of something especially and that was how grateful I was for my family! You are all the light of my life and I could not agree more that you are where TRUE happiness is found! I love you and I am so thankful for you! As I watched general conference and the closing song came on..I realized it was my last conference on the mission and I may or may not have had to clean up my face!! I love conference on the mission. Thankful for those sacred times!

This week was quit eventful I would say!!  I got a root canal, (pictures soon to come!) General Conference, Felicity's baptism fell through, (her family was hard core are against it),  transfers, (yes I am leaving....my heart....I love PURDUE!)  MLC (mission leadership council), and miracles in between reminding me that God is still there and is aware of me! How thankful I am for the opportunity I have and had to rely on my Savior this week. I needed it and I grew. I had an a few "Enos" moments and am very grateful for them!! I grew this week and my heart is full of gratitude. I decided to give it all to my Savior...again...I have to keep relearning that lesson but I am grateful for it!

It was hard to not have Felicity get baptized...but the training at MLC were very inspired and just need to trust God. She is will come around...she does have a testimony but opposition through her family has been hard for her. I know God will take care of her. I hope I can too even though I will not be here. Pray for her!

Well, it is time to leave Purdue, I cannot tell you how much I love this place...it is so special to me and I will forever be a Boiler fan! I have seen miracles after miracle and I have made best friends on my mission. I am thankful for what I learned, how I grew, and the opportunity I had to grow close to my Savior. I also love Sister Goodstein...she is a great girl and I have gained another best friend! but....time to grow somewhere else..and I will do it with a happy heart!
I love you and am thankful for you all!
Thank you for your prayers!

Love,
Sister Clegg
