Hello Hello!

Wow! What another busy week for you all! I cannot believe how busy you are with everything! I got Austin and Amy's wedding invite! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! You two look beautiful! I may or may not have stared at it for a really long time! It was perfect! I loved it! Also...to think Brenny is going to be in my neck of the woods this week for Nationals is so weird, but SO EXCITING! I don't know any details but I will pray that some how it works out to see him! I have the okay from the my Mission President! :) Cool! :)

This week was what I like to call "a ride" meaning...there were ups, downs, twist, turns, backward, and forwards all crammed into one week! IT WAS AWESOME! haha I learned a lot this week and it was a growing week! :) "Be not afraid of growing...rather be afraid of standing still" One of my favorite quotes for the mission! It was great!

This week started off with "March Maddness" on P-day! I don't know if you remember but we were supposed to have a basketball "camp" with President Cleveland a couple weeks ago...well it got cancelled so we got to do it last Monday and it was awesome! The whole time I was expecting President to whip out some scriptures or something..but...nope...it was just simply for fun! haha (I think President misses being a coach!) :) We ran ladders and did drills and played a game or two. It was great! After President came up to me and ask it I had played basketball...I was a little afraid of why he was asking but... turns out "I still got it!" hahaha Just kidding! But, it was really fun and I just love President!

A lot of weird things happened this week but...we will just update you on how the investigators are doing! :)  (we would be here all day otherwise... so I am doing you all a favor!) :)

Heather- IS DOING AMAZING! She accepted a baptismal date! We are moving a long with her! She is the sweetest thing and I love here a lot!

Carlos- He is steady as the river! He reads the Book of Mormon every day. He is praying and coming to church.....umm yep that is where he is at.  No answer yet, but I pray it will be soon!

Janice- She isn't doing as well. She got a little scared and wants us to give her time....yes (the worst thing for me...Patience!) but I have faith in the Lord and things will be all okay!

Paula and her family- They are a less active family and we have been working with them for about 3 weeks now and they finally came to church this Sunday! They loved it and seemed happy to be back! Pray they will continue!

Well...that is all I will update you with....we are blessed and we are working with a lot of people right now! Which is a huge blessing!

Well, next week is transfers so I will let you know next Monday what it going on! I trust whatever it may be! :)

I love you all so much! Happy Birthday to Cass Cass this week! I hope you have a great day! I love you all --- more then I really can say! Thank you for your prayers and letters! They make days special! Know I am praying for you all! Keep being a light! John 1:8-9
I Love you!
Love,

Sister Clegg the 3rd! :)

April 21, 2014 D.O.T.S.

Hello to my favorite people in the world!!!
How is everything? Mom sent Prom pictures -  Brennen! You are a stud! I am so proud of you! Plus...you looked mighty fine in your tux let me tell you! Congrats on Prom Prince!!  I would go to prom with you anyday! Man oh man! :) I told everyone that you were going to prom this weekend...haha :) It's fine..I'm just obsessed with my family! :) I can't wait to read how everyone else is doing!? Looking forward to reading your emails to find out!!
My week was THE BEST EVER! It was not the typical "missionary work" week....but the best only because we had the best trainings, service projects, and exchanges in the world! :)
On Wednesday we had a Sisters Conference....yes...ALL the sisters in the mission got together for the best training of our lives!!! Oh man... I cannot even tell you how fun it was! It was pretty much all day. We got trainings by a few of the sister training leaders, Sister Cleveland, and President Cleveland. President said it was a day he would never forget. The theme was DOTS! (Depend On The Savior) I think a lot of the sister missionaries are being hard on themselves and so a lot of the trainings were on "making us feel good"!! But...none the less it worked! I feel good!!  :) Then you will never believe it...but we got to do Zumba! :)  I never thought I would do that on my mission...but I was making you proud Dad!! I showed them what was up!!  haha (to be honest..I was probably super awkward but had a blast doing it!!!)  It was a great day! We got to watch a slideshow of all the sisters and the fun things we do everyday as missionaries! It was great! :)
Then we had exchanges! I got to go with Sister Howard from Parker, Idaho!! Two Idaho girls! :) I learned a lot from her and she is a great missionary! I really enjoyed our exchange... we actually worked on a farm that day and Sister Howard threw up because of the smell in the chicken coop!! We laughed pretty hard about it. (after I checked to see if she was okay!) :)
Then on Saturday, our whole zone did  a service project in downtown Indy. We cleaned up probably 30 alleys..the streets looks so much better! We all got so sunburned! I looked like a cherry! But it was good to get some Vitamin D! :)
It was a great week! Sister Wells found us a knew investigator! :) Her name is Heather and she is incredible! She is deaf and so Beyla..all that sign language you taught me really helped! Thank you! I was able to tell her things like...water, milk...you know all the mission lingo... haha!  No, but really it was awesome! She said the closing prayer and boy- the spirit was strong! Thank goodness she can read lips really well! It was awesome! (Investigators progress so much faster when the referrals are from the members...so remember that!) :)
This week was the best ever and I love all that I get to do as a missionary!!! I have decided that I may never stop being a missionary!!! I will come home don't worry...but I am loving it here! There are moments and days that there is no denying the truthfulness of this gospel! "I knew it, God knew it, and there was no denying it" (Restoration video- Yes Dad - I can quote the whole thing! Me and my movie quotes!)  Oh man! What a great week! I love you all and will be praying for you and all your busy days! You are my world! I love you!
Love,
Sister Clegg

Check out the brand name of the Potato Chips!!
HEY!

How is everyone? I may or may not have peaked at a few emails and....BROOKE'S engaged!!!! what??? YAY! Happy day...Brookie if you read these I am expecting some details ASAP! Brenny, you go to prom this week...oh my....my baby is growing up! :) Send me 50 million pics okay??? :) Sounds like everyone is crazy busy and that it is crunch time! :) Wow! Good luck and I will be praying for you!

This week was really good! Always there are miracles....that is probably one of my favorite things about being a missionary is seeing the Lords hand and getting front row seats to it all! It is awesome! We worked hard this week which I was thankful for! It always makes me feel so much better when we get home at the end of the day...tired but, so pumped up that you can't wait to do it again the next day! :)

One miracle moment was a lesson with Carlos...he hasn't received his answer but, we were able to have a super good lesson with him and he is still trying. We invited the Elders to teach with us this week and it was super cool! They brought some good insights that Sister Warner and I could not have. He wants to know the truth so bad, that my heart nearly breaks for him everytime he talks about it. We saw him a lot this week and we will continue to, but I learned a lesson this week...and that is to let the Lord take him now. He is reading and praying...coming to church... I don't know what is missing...but I do have a testimony and a strong trust in Heavenly Father and he will let Carlos know when Carlos is ready...so for the time being...we will continue to meet with him and pray for him! :)

We have a fireside once a month called "Why I Believe" in downtown Indy and it is some of the recent converts and less actives bearing their testimonies and it is so fun! Their testimonies are always so sweet and pure, it strengthens mine to hear theirs. But, I got to see all the people that were in my district in the MTC and it was so fun! :) They have all grown so much and it is fun to see! It was great!
Overall this week was so good! We are hoping to get all these new investigators to start progressing...that is the thing we are "struggling" with...they will listen to us and maybe even let us come back...but as far as changing their lives....that is where we hit a hurdle...but I know who is in control and I will trust that everything will be okay! :) Because it always is!! :)

Well, Familia and Friends! I couldn't love you more! You are the best! I am so excited for Easter! This holiday...makes me a cry baby.... I have so much gratitude for my Savior, Jesus Chris,t and what He has done for me. He lives. I know that He does! Because of what Jesus Christ did for us we can have burdens lifted from our shoulders, peace in our lives, comfort at all times, mistakes forgiven, and weaknesses turn to strengths. I am so grateful. I love each of you like crazy! Have fun this week and remember how special this week really is..... Because He lives....so do we!!! :)
Love,
Sister Clegg the 3rd! :)

April 7, 2014

Well Hello!!!
How is everyone? How was your week? Alex/Grandma/Sadies Birthday? General Conference for you all? I loved it! There is something about being on your mission and hearing General Conference that is just as good as CHRISTMAS! It was fantastic! :)

One of my favorite quotes from General Conference was "It will be alright, because I know who is at the head of this church." I loved that....because so many times we can stress over ..um...everything?? But, when we trust our Heavenly Father enough to know this is His church and He is in control, then there is no need to fear! General Conference was awesome and we were able to have a lot of investigators come to it - so that was really good. One thing is for sure and that is you can trust the Prophet and Apostles with your investigators!! :) LOVED IT!

This week was excellent! Always is! Janice is progressing like crazy and she is making changes in her life right now that will bless her life forever! Plus...she has the cutest kids in the entire world and I am obsessed with all of them! We were able to find two new investigators this week and met with them and had a awesome lesson with them...the spirit was present! :) They watched conference and loved it, and they were so excited to have a copy of the Book of Mormon...which was cool! There names are Carla and Celia! Love them! Carlos is Carlos - as Sister Warner and I like to say...he is still reading and praying and reading and praying. I am convinced this week is going to be the week where a miracle is going to happen... (I know whatever is Heavenly Fathers will is what is going to happen) but still... I am getting impatient (patience has never been one of my greatest qualities lets face it!)

I had a cool experience this week! We were personal contacting one day and we got talking to a guy named Patrick. As we were talking he looked at me straight in the eyes and said "You have two minutes to tell me why what you do is going to make a difference in my life" and then he stopped and listened. (no pressure right???) Whether I did a good job of bearing my testimony or not, I do not know but, I do know that it was a wonderful opportunity for me to give it all I had. I have reflected back at this experience a lot this week and I am thankful for that man that challenged why I love doing what I do everyday as a missionary! I really do love it and the message we share as missionaries really can make a difference!!  So next time I have a 2 minute opportunity to share why it will make a difference...I have been practicing and I am ready to say that it does. It does make a difference! I LOVE IT!

Well.  I love you all! You are all incredible and I am praying for each and everyone of you like crazy! Thank you for all you do and the examples you are for me! I love you! I love you! I love you!
Love,

Sister Clegg the 3rd :)
