Hello to my favorite people in the world!!!
How is everything? Mom sent Prom pictures - Brennen! You are a stud! I am so proud of you! Plus...you looked mighty fine in your tux let me tell you! Congrats on Prom Prince!! I would go to prom with you anyday! Man oh man! :) I told everyone that you were going to prom this weekend...haha :) It's fine..I'm just obsessed with my family! :) I can't wait to read how everyone else is doing!? Looking forward to reading your emails to find out!!
My week was THE BEST EVER! It was not the typical "missionary work" week....but the best only because we had the best trainings, service projects, and exchanges in the world! :)
On Wednesday we had a Sisters Conference....yes...ALL the sisters in the mission got together for the best training of our lives!!! Oh man... I cannot even tell you how fun it was! It was pretty much all day. We got trainings by a few of the sister training leaders, Sister Cleveland, and President Cleveland. President said it was a day he would never forget. The theme was DOTS! (Depend On The Savior) I think a lot of the sister missionaries are being hard on themselves and so a lot of the trainings were on "making us feel good"!! But...none the less it worked! I feel good!! :) Then you will never believe it...but we got to do Zumba! :) I never thought I would do that on my mission...but I was making you proud Dad!! I showed them what was up!! haha (to be honest..I was probably super awkward but had a blast doing it!!!) It was a great day! We got to watch a slideshow of all the sisters and the fun things we do everyday as missionaries! It was great! :)
Then we had exchanges! I got to go with Sister Howard from Parker, Idaho!! Two Idaho girls! :) I learned a lot from her and she is a great missionary! I really enjoyed our exchange... we actually worked on a farm that day and Sister Howard threw up because of the smell in the chicken coop!! We laughed pretty hard about it. (after I checked to see if she was okay!) :)
Then on Saturday, our whole zone did a service project in downtown Indy. We cleaned up probably 30 alleys..the streets looks so much better! We all got so sunburned! I looked like a cherry! But it was good to get some Vitamin D! :)
It was a great week! Sister Wells found us a knew investigator! :) Her name is Heather and she is incredible! She is deaf and so Beyla..all that sign language you taught me really helped! Thank you! I was able to tell her things like...water, milk...you know all the mission lingo... haha! No, but really it was awesome! She said the closing prayer and boy- the spirit was strong! Thank goodness she can read lips really well! It was awesome! (Investigators progress so much faster when the referrals are from the members...so remember that!) :)
This week was the best ever and I love all that I get to do as a missionary!!! I have decided that I may never stop being a missionary!!! I will come home don't worry...but I am loving it here! There are moments and days that there is no denying the truthfulness of this gospel! "I knew it, God knew it, and there was no denying it" (Restoration video- Yes Dad - I can quote the whole thing! Me and my movie quotes!) Oh man! What a great week! I love you all and will be praying for you and all your busy days! You are my world! I love you!
Love,
Sister Clegg
